A Cozy Winter Morning In The Office ✨

There’s something about winter settling into Wisconsin that always makes my workdays feel extra magical. This morning started just the way I love to begin my day, turning on the lights in my office and instantly setting that warm, cozy mood.

Once everything was twinkling and inviting, I settled into my desk for the first big task of the day: editing a recent family session I photographed outdoors just before the weather shifted. Those crisp fall-to-winter moments are some of my favorites to capture, so reliving them while I edited made the morning feel even more peaceful.

After editing, I made it a goal to spend some intentional time being social on social media, commenting, engaging, posting, and connecting. It’s something I try to weave into my daily routine because relationship building is truly the heart of running a small business.

A quick Pinterest upload session followed, making sure some fresh images were added to my boards to keep that organic reach growing.

Before diving into the next task, I also wanted to highlight something I’m so excited about: my brand-new Free Training for Newborn Photographers! 🎉

If you’re ready to level up your posing, workflow, confidence, or client experience, you’re going to love this. Whether you’re just starting your newborn photography journey or refining your current style, this free training is designed to give you actionable steps you can implement right away.

Then… a fun surprise arrived. My new Robinhood Gold Card finally came in the mail!

If you haven’t heard of it, the Robinhood Gold Card is still pretty under-the-radar. It’s a premium credit card available only if you have a Robinhood Gold membership, and honestly, it has some great perks.

The coolest part for me is that switching to the card automatically covers the cost of my Gold membership for the year. I was paying $5 every month before ($60 a year), but now I only pay $50 annually, so I’m saving $10 right off the top. A small win, but a win nonetheless!

I also recurve 3% back on every purchase, which is something I don’t see often with other credit cards. My Chase card that I use right now doesn’t even offer me this, so that’s why I decided to give this Robinhood card a try. So far, I really like it!

Back at my desk, I uploaded a new session to my external drive… or at least I tried to. I ended up having to do the classic shuffle of deleting old files just to make room, because of course the drive was full again. Photographer problems, right?

I wrapped up the morning by sending out a round of emails, including details about my 2025 Referral Bonus Program (which I’m so excited about!) Make sure you check your inbox for that, because I am giving away some serious cash for those that help me grow my business.

After that, I decided it was the perfect moment to pause, breathe, and officially call it a morning.

A few cozy vibes, a little productivity, a sprinkle of admin work, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes real life, that’s how today’s vlog and blog came together.

Thanks for following along with me!
