How I Organize My Life and Business With One Binder (And How You Can Too)

If there’s one tool that’s been a total game changer for my life and business, it’s my binder. Not an app. Not a fancy software. Just a simple, tangible binder that keeps everything I need right at my fingertips.
Over the years, I’ve developed and refined this system into something that helps me stay focused, inspired, and on top of the moving parts of running a business and a household. And today, I’m excited to give you a peek inside.
This binder isn’t just filled with to-do lists and notes. Although those are in there too. It’s an evolving system that supports me in staying aligned with my goals, tracking my progress, and making room for what actually matters. Each tab is organized by different areas of my life and business, from content planning to client management to personal growth. It’s my second brain, and I honestly don’t know how I ever functioned without it.
In my latest sit-down video over on Patreon, I walk you through the entire binder and explain how each section works.
But what I really dive into, and what I want to touch on here, is my daily notecard system. This little notecard, housed right at the front of the binder, holds the pulse of my day. It might seem simple, but it’s powerful.
Each morning, I write down my priorities for the day on this notecard. It includes my top tasks, social media posts, and even a space for tracking my habits and energy levels.
Why? Because I’ve learned that my productivity isn’t just about checking boxes. It’s about how I show up. Noticing when I’m feeling focused or foggy, motivated or scattered, helps me make better decisions about where to place my energy.
The habit-building section is small but mighty. I don’t believe in overwhelming myself with 15 new routines at once. Instead, I track just a few key habits I’m working on each month. Seeing those tiny wins build up over time has helped me grow in a way that feels grounded and sustainable. No burnout. Just consistent, mindful progress.
What makes this system so special to me is that it’s not rigid. It’s flexible. Some days are full of meetings and shoots. Other days are slower, meant for editing, brainstorming, or rest. My binder helps me tune into those rhythms instead of fighting against them. It supports me in working with my energy not in spite of it.
One of the biggest surprises? How much it’s helped with my creativity.
Having everything organized clears space in my brain to actually think. I can plan shoots, jot down ideas, sketch out content, and even leave room for personal inspiration. That freedom to flow creatively while staying grounded in structure? That’s where the magic happens.
In the video, I also share how I use this binder for social media planning. Keeping track of what I’m posting, what’s in progress, and what needs repurposing.
If you’re running a business online, you know how overwhelming it can get trying to stay consistent across platforms. My system keeps it simple, strategic, and actually enjoyable.
If you’re someone who’s craving more clarity, more consistency, and more control over your days (without feeling chained to a screen), this video is for you. I believe everyone can benefit from having a system that works for them, not against them. And I’m sharing all of my templates, methods, and real-life examples with you on Patreon.
So come join me over there and let’s build a system that helps you stay focused, feel inspired, and get things DONE. Whether you take pieces of mine and tweak it to fit your life, or follow along step-by-step, I can’t wait to see what you create with it. You deserve a life and business that feels organized and empowering, and it all starts with the right tools.
