Summer Shenanigans With The Family

There’s something so special about working with families who return year after year. This sweet family has been with me for several seasons now, and each time they step in front of my camera, I’m reminded how lucky I am to do what I do. Watching them grow, change, and create new memories together has been such an honor.

One of the things I love most about our sessions is how natural they feel. It never feels like we’re rushing through poses or forcing smiles, instead, it feels like catching up with friends.

We talk about hobbies we share, the fun things happening in life, and the trips they’re looking forward to. These conversations bring out the laughter, the real smiles, and the little moments of connection that make their photos so genuine.

This year’s session was filled with exactly that, plenty of laughter, joy, and easy conversation.

What I appreciate most about this family is the trust they place in me. Each time they come back, it’s a reminder that they value not only the photos but also the experience we create together. That trust means so much, and I never take it for granted. It pushes me to always give my very best, so they have images that reflect their love and joy year after year.
