Taking a Little Break From Photos To Talk Nostalgia 🎮

Sometimes, it’s good to take a step back from the hustle. And if you grew up with a Game Boy in your hand or spent hours blowing into cartridges hoping they’d work, you’re going to love what I’m about to share.
Let’s talk about an app I recently downloaded that completely scratched my nostalgic itch.
It’s called Delta (available in the APPLE APP STORE ONLY), and it has quickly become my favorite little escape. It turns your iPhone into a retro gaming machine, giving you access to a library of your favorite classic consoles.
Whether you’re looking to relive childhood memories or introduce your own kids to the games you grew up with, this is a total game-changer.
Delta is compatible with several classic consoles, and I was blown away by how many it supports. You can play games from the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES), Super Nintendo (SNES), Nintendo 64, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and even the Nintendo DS.

All the big ones that defined a generation of gamers. It’s like carrying your childhood around in your pocket.
One of the coolest features of Delta is the ability to save your game at any point. No more needing to get to a save point or leaving your console on overnight. Whether you’re in the middle of a battle or just completed a level, you can freeze that exact moment and come back to it later right where you left off. It’s a dream come true for busy folks who can only squeeze in a few minutes of play here and there.
And guess what? Delta also supports Bluetooth controllers, which means you don’t have to rely on touchscreen controls (unless you want to).
I paired mine with a small retro-style controller, and it feels just like I remember. There’s something about using real buttons and a directional pad that makes the experience so much better, and a lot more comfortable during longer play sessions.
Even better, you can stream your gameplay directly to your TV. Delta supports AirPlay (for Apple TV users) and Google Chromecast, so you can throw your game up on the big screen and really get into it. And yes, it still works with your Bluetooth controller while it’s on the TV.
I’ve been playing “Mario Kart 64” on my living room screen and reliving sleepover memories from the late ’90s!
One of the biggest perks? You don’t even need an internet connection to play. Once your games are loaded in the app, you’re good to go, whether you’re on a flight, in the waiting room, or just sitting outside enjoying some quiet time.
It’s the perfect travel companion for when I need a little break between photo sessions or editing marathons.
As a small business owner and someone constantly on the go, I don’t always have time to sit down and dive into a lengthy game. But with Delta, I can play in short bursts and still feel that sense of fun and accomplishment. Even just five minutes of “Zelda” or “Pokemon Yellow” can reset my brain and give me that cozy, nostalgic recharge I didn’t even realize I needed.
And I know I’m not alone. There’s something so universally comforting about revisiting the games we loved as kids. The music, the pixelated art, the goofy sound effects, it all comes rushing back the second you boot one up.
Whether you were a Mario person or more into Metroid, there’s something waiting for everyone inside this app.
I wanted to share this with you not just because it’s fun, but because we all deserve to have something just for us. Something that doesn’t feel like work. Something that brings joy for no other reason than it just… does.
Delta has been that for me lately. A creative escape that lets me unwind and reconnect with that playful side I sometimes forget about when I’m in boss-mode.
So if you’ve been looking for something to help you decompress, tap into your inner 10-year-old, or just escape the busy world for a bit, Delta is 100% worth checking out. Grab a controller, find your favorite childhood game, and enjoy the ride. You’ll be amazed at how fast the memories come flooding back.
Where To Get The Games
Once you download the Delta app from your app store, you’ll realize that you need to add your games. So this is the website I recommend going to romgames.net
So from your device, go to this website.

Find the game you want.
Download it.
Once it’s done downloading, go to Files, hit share, and select Delta app.
This also syncs across all your devices so you can go from playing on your cell phone to your iPad wherever the app is installed.
Get A Bluetooth Controller
If you’re in the market for a controller, this is the one I recommend- FIND IT HERE
I can easily plug my iPad mini or my cell phone into this controller, and it automatically recognizes my gaming focus mode that I already have set up on my devices so as soon as I plug in my controller, everything is set up and is ready for me to game.
Also, this controller runs straight from your devices battery so you don’t have to worry about charging it use plug-in play. But there is a charging port on the bottom of the controller so if you are low on juice, you can just plug it in and power up both devices.
Let Me Know What You’re Playing!
Let me know if you give it a try (and what your favorite game is! I’m always looking for suggestions!)
Until then, keep creating, keep playing, and don’t forget to do the things that light you up, even if they have nothing to do with your day job.
