This little girl came into the studio and was absolutely perfect from beginning to end. She was adorable, so sweet, and slept through her entire newborn session like an absolute dream baby. I couldn’t have asked for a better little model to photograph!

There are few things that bring me more joy as a photographer than seeing familiar faces return year after year. This spring family session was especially meaningful because it was with one of my wonderful returning families who have trusted me to capture their memories through so many seasons of life. Every time we get together, it feels less like a photoshoot and more like catching up with old friends.

Audrey and Sam’s engagement session was such a beautiful afternoon at one of our favorite local parks. Even though the temperature definitely reminded us it’s still winter, their energy and excitement made the cold easy to forget.

One of the best parts about being a photographer is getting to work with a variety of lenses during each session. Every lens has its own “personality,” and each one helps tell a different part of your story.

There is something undeniably magical about the earliest days of a newborn’s life. The way their tiny fingers curl around yours, the soft rise and fall of their breathing, the peaceful stillness that fills the room. These are the moments that slip by in the blink of an eye.
